Although I’m now living in the UK and will certainly not be watching live, I still have my online competition to turn to. That’s right — It’s time for the 4th Annual, James Schannep Oscar competition!

Oscar Pool 2014

It’s time once again for the SuperBowl of Cinema!

I love movies. If you put a gun to my head and told me to choose between movies and books, I’d probably tell you to just go ahead and shoot me.*

*(NOTE: If I ever get famous enough to have rabid, crazy fans, please do not track me down to try the aforementioned hypothetical.)

If you’re like me, you’ve got your predictions. Come March 2nd, you’ll be around a TV, computer, or projector watching the Tinseltown’s big night.

Online Oscar Pool

Every year I have people over and we watch the Oscars. We make good food, others bring dishes potluck style, and  we bet on the outcome of awards. It’s become my SuperBowl. I keep up with movies; not so much with football…

This year, with so many of us living all over the place, and with my network ever expanding online, I’m hosting a separate betting pool on my website. And this is not just for my close friends (I’ll still do that at home)! So come one, come all.
